One of the best places we stayed during our walk! Very comfortable, with everything a pilgrim needs: a kitchen with all the essentials for cooking, a washing machine, and a good bathroom and beds. They don’t have many shared rooms, but the price of the double or triple rooms are very similar, so it’s worth it to enjoy a good rest on your final day. Bonus: the building is amazing, and the view is incredible! Ps: try to book before, as soon as possible, this place can be full very fast
This was my second time staying in the Albergue, single rooms. This time, I would not recommend it to anyone. IT HAS BED BUGS!!! It's a nightmare now trying to fumigate all our clothes and backpacks. My daughter got up with bed bug bites all over her body. The rooms are dirty, and the bathrooms not exactly friendly to use. One day as taking a shower a guy walks in to take a shower in a next stall. The other day, guys are using women's washrooms and showers as well. No privacy at all. It's a safety issue for sure.
Great place to stay! Really convenient for finishing off with all your stamps and Camino Passport to get your certificate. Great views annual leave and enjoy the fireworks if you’re lucky enough to be there when they’re on! It’s incredible to imagine that this many people filled all these rooms in such a big place and they spent the whole time praying for good in the world !!!!!
The place is in right spirit of camino. Very quiet, modest rooms, clean toilets and showers. All beds are single ones, so no climbing on upper deck. Linen is provided, no towels. All bets have a locker beside,that require 1 euro coin, coin is returnable, very handy. Although the place is a bit expensive for albergue, 24 euro is the chipset option. Close to city centre.
It used to be a good place to stay after the camino but not any more. The staff were cold.and.lacking manners. Silly pointless rules (like not being able to sit on the steps outside or drink a coffee outside etc) have taken the joy out of the place. It is also well over priced for a bed. I would not go back there again.
