Myself and my daughter had a super stay. The staff really do go above and beyond in welcoming guests and keeping the Albergue clean. Its a easy 15 minute walk into the centre and the Albergue is relatively quiet. Restaurants and bakeries are close by and the bus from the airport less than a 5 minute walk away. Would highly recommend staying here.
It was 20 min away from the centre, not bad! The room was clean, the bed was nice. The guy who welcomed me was very friendly too and explained everything so well! Toilets not too big but they were fine 😌! The only thing I didn’t know how to feel about was: you have to leave the hostel from 10-1pm so they can clean it, I mean it didn’t affect me because I was planning to wander around the city, but it’s just weird, so maybe take it into consideration if you’re really tired and want to rest after the camino! 😊 I didn’t take pictures of the hostel, I’m sorry! 🫰🏻ahh! There’s also a shopping centre 7 min away from it with a huge supermarket (alcampo), restaurants, etc!!
I stayed there for three night. The albergue is nice, the position is directly on camino so you can see other pilgrims passing by. The staff is also supernice and helpfull. They have a sturdy beds with curtain and lockers and you can have a solid sleep. But you can not really use your own sleeping bag because of the prevention of bed bugs so you have to use the blanket which is provided (pocito scared by that). The chill area is good but the kitchen is unusable for cooking and there is also no washing machine in hostel. For the money I think there are better options.
Very decent for pilgrim standards in a relatively close location to the cathedral. I had one issue only, the bed frames are some sort of metal that makes a lot of noise and is a bit difficult to be completely silent on the upper beds. And a small shelf on at least the upper beds could've been useful. But this is a nitpick really.
This was my favorite hostel I have stayed in the entire Camino!! It was fitting I would have such a comfortable hostel after a long way of walking. Everything here is perfect. They do thorough cleanings everyday, the beds are comfortable and clean(THEY HAVE CURTAINS!), and the staff are wonderful and friendly. It is right on the Camino Frances, so you will pass by and can check in before heading into the old town and cathedral, which is about a 15-20 minute walk away. Could not recommend more!
