The best I can say about this place is that it is clean, warm, and located right in the middle of the center of the Old town. And has a 24hr laundry service. But it fails on other aspects. The rooms are very small, less than 130sqft. (Used to be Monk/ Nun cells for the covenant. I am a large man. Not fat, but broad shoulders. I could barely fit in the shower doors, and could not close them without hitting the faucet and turning the water to cold or super hot. The beds are good but simple. Very snug for the toilet. If you need to go back to your room during the day, the maids will stop you, even if they are not working on your room. The dinning room is very nice. Has too simple of a menu for dinner, and breakfast is NOT WORTH the 15 EU. You can find many places out in the town for the same amount. If you have to do any work and need a table to work on. You can ONLY do it in your room. They have many, many group/ meeting rooms on every level. But you are NOT allowed to use any of them at all. The hallway lights are all set on motion control to conserve electricity. But they are often delayed and you will find yourself walking down pitch black hallways until you get near a motion co trol place. On the whole nice and convenient, but I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!

We stayed her before the start of our Camino Walk in March 2025 and we also stayed here at the end of our Camino Walk. A monastery turned into a hotel and very well kept. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Located next to Santiago de Compostella and within walking distance to shops and restaurant. Wished we had a chance to stay longer. Highly recommended place of stay for those on your Camino journey.

Little expensive, only heard after there are cheaper pilgrim rooms you need to know to ask - and be a pilgrim of course. Bed really good. Meal in a restaurant was so bad I could not eat the soup at all. Please dine some other place! Breakfast nice.

They are very nice, it was a great experience! As a pilgrim the prices are really good considering how near it is to the cathedral Great!

Thank you to dearest Miguel at the front desk. He helped me the day I lost my cell phone walking the Camino De Santiago. He allowed me to print out my train and bus tickets back to Lisbon. True GEMSTONE! Will return here again!
