Great location in the old town. Room was good except for the beds, they are firm and you can feel the wire “springs”. Nice and quiet.

Right in the heart of historic Compostela with plenty of alleys, nooks and corners within 15min walk from hostel. From balcony of room, we could see the twin steeple of Santiago cathedral
I cannot recommend this hostal/hotel. The beds are SO uncomfortable that it ruined any value of this location. Paying $80/night for a bed I can’t sleep in is ridiculous when there are many other less pricey places that would be more comfortable. Showers very small. Check in with the kiosk is inefficient and compromises security as you’re speaking all of your personal identification information in the hallway where the whole building can hear — Passport, birthdate. Yes, rooms are clean and staff will clean them every day like a hotel if you want but the only real positive is the location which doesn’t make up for the terrible mattress.
