Unfortunately they’ve been sending me lots of SPAM messages on booking.com claiming that my reservation was at risk and that I had to click on an external link within 6 hours otherwise they would had cancelled my reservation. They kept sending me emails and messages so I eventually decided to cancel the reservation. Everything sounded very dodgy and a phishing attempt.
We stayed here last year and had a nice room with a big window and a nice view, there was three of us, and it was great…this time not so much. It was just the two of us this time, the room was okay, a bit small and the only window was in the ceiling so that was a little disappointing since we had the nice big window last time, but not the reason for the poor review. We messaged in advance before we arrived to double check that they had a good wifi connection as my partner was going to be working, they said they did. When we arrived, we mentioned again that it was important to be in a room with a good signal for his work, they said they had wifi but they weren’t sure about the signal in our room and the hostal was full so there was nothing they could do about it. So of course it didn’t work and he had to use all his data. The worst part was the mould, you could smell it pretty strongly in the bathroom and see it all in the shower, tiles, grout, and a few places other places. The shower head was also broken and fell on me while I was in the shower and hit me on the head. Won’t be staying here again.
Uncomfortable bed, the toilet paper they gave me had a stain on it, window wouldn’t close and room was very noisy, very damp and dank (was much better after leaving the dehumidifier on all night). The room looked nothing like the pictures on booking! Way overpriced for how bad it is
Bedbug alert!!! In july 2023 we stayed 2 nights at As Margaritas, on the 2nd night we realized the presence of bedbugs. We had over 50 bites in each of our bodies, and spotted more than 5 bugs between bed linen, pillows and walls. The amount of bites and bugs, we can conclude that the bedbugs were there for a long time.
Nice little hotel - the room was comfy and clean and had some character. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was good value too.
