Fantastic place to stay just across the road from the old town. Aha was a really helpful host and I got an extra couple of nights which I paid across the road in the lovely cafe muralla. I've a real soft spot for the bar Fonda around the corner where I watched a great game and ate a lot of cheese and other tapas. The old town is less than a minute away and you can walk for hours surfing the bars or just window shopping. The rooms are all self entry with the code bei
I think this is a scam - if I could give 0 stars I would. The photos look nothing like the accommodation at all, the place was so unhygienic, everything was dirty, from the bedding, towels, bedrooms, common areas and bathrooms. You had to get in via a code and then find your room and we honestly at first thought we might have gone to the wrong place. We booked into an 8 bed dorm but there were 10 beds, towels that looked disgusting, pipes in the middle of the room, random junk left everywhere in the hallways, the bathrooms were very old and filthy. There was one window that looked onto other walls. I'm still so shocked considering the very misleading photos on Google and the website. 5 of us stayed under the name Barney on the 11th Sept 2023.
The host is nice and everything, but i didn't feel comfortable there, it is like staying at somebody's home. The price is quite high 30€ for a room without shower and toilet. Wouldn't stay once more, the next day i moved to albergue.
A small and humbling room with a TV and the place has a pleasant host . The bathroom is a bit small but sufficient and the key to this accommodation is location location location .... Everything is close or a short stroll you can be at a bus station in one min a cafe in less and the cathedral is a short pleasant 5 min stroll along the old town with cafe and shops to make it seem like it's merely across the road ...
