Avoid. The WiFi didn't work in my room 2nd floor. They said they'd look into it but never came back to me. They also told me that it's slow due to a lot of people are using it and I could sit in the lobby if I needed it. The walls are so thin that you hear your neighbors. I booked with the hotel directly, yet they still gave me a room on a low floor with no view. My tv alsydidn't work. You can hear all the noises from the lobby in your room. It was a horrible stay, and there are much better real hotels in the area at the same price. I've stayed in nicer Albergues on my Camino than this place.

Great location, extremely friendly staff and very nice clean rooms. Me and my son stayed here for a night recently. The staff were extremely welcoming and treated my son fantastically. The rooms were really clean, a good size for a city centre hotel and the beds were very comfortable. The location is second to none for Santiago also. Great value for money. Will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Santiago

We have had a couple of nights at this centrally located 3 star hotel. I must admit that I was drawn to the aesthetic aspect of this place, the stone structure and historic architecture and its described as a boutique hotel. On arrival we were pleased with the location. It is in the historic district and close to a large number of restaurants, cafes and shops. The lady on the Reception Desk was not particularly welcoming, by that I mean she came across as abrupt and unfriendly. We were allocated our room (3 single bed) and advised that our booking did not include breakfast so if we wanted to have breakfast, we must request it the night before. We decided not to go for the hotel breakfast as there were so many great cafes in close proximity to the hotel. The room was very clean and the beds, comfortable. The ensuite shower room had everything you need apart from hand soap. I was expecting to find some coffee/tea making facilities in the room but they were lacking. I loved the stone walls but it fell a little short of my expectations of a boutique hotel. There was far too much laminate and plastic in the building to make it look and feel luxurious and the staff really needed to be more professional and take the time to make their guests feel welcomed. We had a family in the room above us and we could hear them walking around and talking to each other. There is no sound proofing in the hotel. The plastic double glazed windows/doors, of which there are two in each window, do a good job of keeping out the noise from outside. However, there is a bar/nightclub nearby and on our first night we were woken up at 4am by a crowd of people shouting as they walked by the hotel. We enjoyed the central location but we were not particularly impressed with the hotel.

This was my home for 3 nights on the last leg of my trip. Fortunately for me, they put me in room 403 which is one of two rooms on the top floor. There was a huge window up there that gave you a 360° view of the city. You can also smell all the pastries getting made in the morning. It was such a treat. It also encouraged me to go outside in the mornings. My room was so spacious. The bed was comfortable and was definitely bigger than the previous beds I slept on in Barcelona and Madrid. There was a safe and small fridge by the entrance. The closet had ample room for all my belongings. The biggest plus is that they were perfectly located. You have lots of food options to choose from just a few steps away. Every dinner reservation I had was only 4-5 minute away on foot. As the city is so small, you can walk everywhere. The staff were all friendly. There was always someone available at the front should you have a question or needed anything. The bus stop for the airport shuttle service was only 3 minutes away which was an added bonus.
