Hotel Altair

By far one of the best hotel’s we’ve stayed in during our camino. After finishing our 11 day walk from porto,Altair hotel was such a lovely place to finally relax so glad we booked an extra 2 days. The staff are super friendly & make you feel really welcome. We had the room with a private terrace which was so nice to have the doors open on to the terrace. The breakfast is amazing all the hotels before had the usual breakfast frenzy waiting for the coffee machine but not at hotel Altair you are served at your table with a wonderful choice of fruit’s croissants toast meats & cheese & cereals great coffee & Santiago cake. If your scrolling review’s for other hotels in Santiago don’t waste your time. Stay here at hotel Altair I guarantee you wont be disappointed.

This hotel is a gem, the service is fantastic, helpful and friendly, the Room was spacious, comfortable and well prepared, finally the breakfast was superb. I really recommend this hotel .

The best hotel in our 2025 Camino France . It is spacious and cozy . The breakfast is excellent. Staff Are friendly and helpful.

Hotel Altair is a fabulous place to stay. We cycled from Porto and this was by far the best accommodation we had. Everything was wonderful here, starting with the extremely helpful and friendly staff, comfortable and clean bedroom and bathroom. And the breakfast was second to none - fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, home made bread with local ham, cheese and jams. Freshly made coffee and almond tart. All in all I highly recommend Hotel Altair
