4 / 5 I wish to commend Hospitalero Martin for his service to us pilgrims during my stay here from 28-29 January 2026.
He provided timely information and was kind enough to provide donated equipment which I then used for my Camino.
Thank you friend!
2 / 5 The worst part of my stay was being woken up at 9 a.m. every morning, regardless of how many nights we were staying. They insisted on cleaning the entire room at that time. I'm not sure if they thought we were checking out, but being woken up by someone shaking the bed and shouting "WAKE UP" was a dealbreaker for me. I won’t choose this hostel again when I return to Santiago. It might be fine if you're staying for just one night or planning to wake up early anyway, but if you're looking for a relaxed, chill stay, this isn't the place. There are also a lot of rules—like not being allowed to use the bathrooms from 9 to 11 a.m. (apparently it takes two hours to clean them?) and no access to the kitchen from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It feels like you are not welcome to stay, only to sleep for a night.
1 / 5 There are other alburguez options with cheaper price AND fewer bunks/room (6-8 bunks per room compared to Mundos 30 bunks in 1 room, 3 showers, 5 toilets). While Colombian night staff was attentive and respectful, the other staff male with white hair in pony tail was rude. Rude staff, low value with higher price, think twice about other options. I did NOT stay here when I returned to Santiago a few days later.
5 / 5 Perfect location. Stayed here 2 nights, mixed dormitorys and bathroom, bed are with plugs and lights. Good confortable bed. 22 € a night, and breakfast for 5 € toast, butter, jam, cereal, coffee, juice.
Very friendly personal.
Good modern kitchen and a small living room with fireplace.
Happy to spend my last 2 days in this Albergue.
4 / 5 A clean albergue next to the cathedral-only 5min by foot. There is a big room full of bunky beds, I paid 22€ for one night. (Although its website said it would be 17€) The breakfast is 5€ but may not worth it. Mattress was clean and the bedsheet was provided. I didn’t use the blanket but my own sleeping bag.
