We paid more than 100 euro for a two bed room. We arrived at 9pm. We knocked. Nobody opened for a long time. Then a lady, chewing her food, gave us the worst welcoming ever, speaking an uncomprehensible language in between English, Spanish and Chinese. Beds were uncomfortable, and being a Saturday night all the street sounds were getting into the room. Cleanliness was ok, but not amazing. Deco and style dubious. Overall, I would define it as a "scam".
The price was very good for the quality of the stay. Room was clean and big. Restroom was also clean and shower water was hot! I had a nice shower after my walk to Santiago and was ready to explore the city. Location is perfect, just out of the old town so I could easily walk there but avoid the crowds. The owner gave me a warm welcome and told me a few nice restaurants nearby. Overall, highly recommend!
Attention was very good. Even if the bathroom was on the other side of the corridor, it was almost empty so we had access to it with no major issues. Breakfast was ok, and the host (a Chinese woman) was very nice.

The packed croissants have been not so good. ... (2/5) - Room-View: the plaza in front of the pension (5/5) - Interior age: modern (5/5) - 1st outside impact: it is almost impossible to find the pension. There is only a very small sign directly at the door that says it is on the 4th floor of the building. I had to walk one time around the whole plaza and in the end I asked in a different hotel where it could be. (0/5) ! - Noise level at night (0:00 - 6:00): unexpectedly quiet (5/5) - price-performance ratio: was very good (4/5) Overall feeling: neutral (result gets rounded in default mathematical manner) Calculation scheme: (2*Staff + 3*Room + 3*Bathroom +3*breakfast + room-view + Interior age + 1st outside impact + 2* noise level at night + 2*price-performance ratio) / 18*5 In total: (2 × 4 + 3 × 5 + 3 × 5 + 3 × 2 + 5 + 5 + 0 + 2 × 5 + 2 × 4) / 18*5 = 4.00
Lady host is very friendly who takes care of guests and and the house well. Room and shared bathroom is clean comfortable spacious. Highly recommended
