really sweet owner/manager! i was too cold and tired to find an albergue so this was a nice, comfortable stay closer in. It is quite expensive but that seems normal for this part of the city. one note is that the shower can leak water out even with closed doors, not a huge issue but folks should know to be careful especially people with limited mobility

This was the absolute perfect stay after finishing our Camino. The room was incredibly comfortable and clean, the location superb (you are above a great area for food and drinks and can literally see the cathedral) and the hosts were amazingly welcoming and helpful, assisting us in last minute getting a taxi to the airport. Absolutely recommend.

Great location in close proximity to the Cathedral, Correros, and in the center of the old town. Lots of shopping and restaurants on all sides. The room was elegantly simple. After walking the Camino it was a welcome luxury.

I loved Staying at Pension Códice . José was so nice and helpful. The room was so cute , clean and spacious. The charm of the stone walls and the amazing balcony and views of the cathedral and streets were also highlights. Close to everything was also a plus !!!! I have stayed at the Parador 3 times but now Pension Códice is my number one choice .

For the price I paid, I have to air out my complaints. The A/C does not work- not even the fan. Which is a problem because the only way to cool the room, in October mind you, is to open the terrace doors, which bleeds infinite noise into the room. This is made more annoying by the fact that the TVs' volumes are blocked from reaching a reasonable listening volume (my TV maxed out at 16). So you can barely hear the TV with the doors closed and you can't hear anything with the doors opened. From a cleanliness standpoint, there were too many stray pubic/beard hairs still in my room. And circling back to the non-functioning A/C... there is a thick layer of dust caked onto the vent slats as the ironic cherry on top. The location is good and thankfully not an issue as I do not require sleep the same as I did when on the camino.
