Great location! Nice staff. The rooms are well decorated, and the vibe is great. But it was the worst sleep on the Camino, worse than a hostel. You could hear all the rooms around, and when people are moving and packing it's insane.
The rooms seem nice in the pictures but that's only because you can't smell them. Our room stank like dirty shoes, possibly because unlike an albergue, shoes are not left at the door. When we asked that the room be cleaned or sanitized, we were handed a spray bottle of air freshener. The bathroom also smelled like mold and mildew and a long strip of mold ran along the shower. See the photos on booking.com for an idea of how bad the mold problem is. The location can't be beat but it's not worth the price with smells potent enough to keep you up at night. Do yourself a favor and find another place for the same price and, God willing, less mold.
Really nice room . We were delayed trying to get a taxi from the airport but the host stayed on late to greet us and let us in . Really clean and comfortable sleep before doing the Camino.
The most wonderful hospitality, very much a pensión - I felt so cared for. This was especially appreciated as a solo traveller. Building is traditional, and decor is light, airy and very comfortable. Would 100% stay again. Great continental breakfast too.
Friendly and flexible owners. We had to cancel at a another hotel and they had a room available. They speak only spanish but are kind and patient. Room was gorgeous with blend of modern amenities and rustic charm. Very clean and comfortable complete with great bathroom. She was so nice and secured us a taxi for early next morning and got up to make sure we were ok. Thank you so much!
