PR Praza de Galicia (Santiago de Compostela)

Rude owner, and almost impossible to contact the him. We had ha very unpleasant situation. Our luggage was dropped in the hotel by a company, but it was stored in the wrong room by mistake. The reason was that the luggage has in my name, but the reservation was made in my girlfriend's name. As we called the owner to understand were was the luggage or if it was robbed, he did not answered phone calls, and hardly spoke through WhatsApp. As he arrived to the place, searching for our bag, he was rude, shouted and smacked a room wall as we were talking to him. The bag was found, but, the owner does not know how to deal with people.I hope he gets better. Rooms are reasonable but the sheets were stained.

Easy check-in. Suitable furnished and clean. At least room 46 got a balcony with a view to the cathedral. No breakfast available, but that's not the problem in Santiago. Okay for an overnight after the Camino.

The only benefit: cheapest place in Santiago that is not a hostel. Dirty old room, dirty towels. Description in booking.com says “toiletries” but there’s no soap. I couldn’t sleep the first night cause the window is broken, enters 100% of the noise unfiltered, and the room gives on the main square where all clubbers flock in from 2am till 7am. The elevator door closes so violently sometimes that it can send you to hospital if you inadvertently have your hand there. If you insist on a private room at the end of your Camino trail, pay more and get a decent room.

You can catch the bus to the airport here for only 3 euros and it's a short bus ride. There are great cafes nearby and some benches to hang out at. It can get a little busy but that's usually in the summer.
