I booked a room at this hotel for a full week, explaining beforehand that I work nights and needed to sleep during the day. They assured me there wouldn't be a problem and that they would offer me a room "completely quiet." The reality was quite the opposite. I only managed to sleep one night during the entire week, and even then, it was a bad night. I put up the "Do Not Disturb" sign throughout my stay, yet the cleaning staff insisted on entering my room several times, banging on the door repeatedly. When I opened it, I firmly explained that I needed to rest and that I had been working nights, but it was no use. On top of this, the cleaners shouted in the hallways every day, yelling instructions and talking about everything under the sun. The hotel smelled unpleasant from the entrance to the hallways. The soundproofing is practically nonexistent: you can hear everything, from conversations in other rooms to even the person next door showering. It was a horrible experience, and frankly, it's ridiculous that they call these rooms "suites." A stay never to be repeated.
Another "vintage" hotel where I'm staying... Carpet, blackened shower curtain... at least it was clean and quiet, and although the highway is nearby, it's not a problem, at least with the windows closed. Easy 🅿️, one point in its favor.
The lady who helped us at reception (Claudia) was very kind to us. The room, which at first glance might be confusing due to its aesthetics, was great. Very spacious, with a large terrace and free parking right outside the door. It was isolated and had good access to the highway. The cleanliness wasn't impeccable, and there was no heating, a hairdryer that didn't work properly, and there was no refrigerator or elevator. Otherwise, we loved it. And to access the hotel, you needed a card, which gives you added security.
We had a very good experience. It's in a great location for getting around the area. The rooms are clean and the staff is very attentive. It was a good idea to spend a few days there.
Good value for money. The service is good, it's clean, and the surroundings are very pretty.
