We were only in the cafeteria, and the service from one of the waitresses couldn't have been more unpleasant. We were with children, and she rudely told us there was no room. Oddly enough, there were three free tables. We ordered everything at the bar and served ourselves. I don't think this girl really wants to work. Then another guy came along who was nice and helpful.
The hotel is very nice. We didn't have a reservation for one night, but they got us a room. The sheets, the room, and the bathroom were spotless. Everything was very clean, and the decor was very cozy. The service in the café downstairs was excellent. Very friendly. The location is very good, just a stone's throw from Gijón. I recommend walking through the streets of Villaviciosa at night; it's charming.
