When we arrived there was no one to open the door for us to check in and no one responded to phone messages or text messages. Eventually a cleaning person helped us in and gave us no instructions and left the building and we did not see another person until the next day. Our package was supposed to include breakfast but there was none. The next day a woman arrived to do laundry. No check out process. It was a very weird experience.
Such a lovely place to stop while doing the Portugues Camino. The staff is so lovely and attentive and helpful. Everything is so clean! Whatever cleaning products they are using are incredible because the entire place smells so fragrant. Really lovely common areas and my private bedroom and bath or wonderful. There’s air conditioning as well. It’s a lovely town with lots of shops and cafés in a really cool library. There’s also a laundromat in town if you need to do laundry along the way. Definitely happy with this hotel!

Great place to rest along the Camino. Many banks, shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby. Auto service - grab your key and go to your room. Liked it so much, we stayed a second night!
We stayed at dos Padres one night during our pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostella. The facilities are new, clean, and comfortable. Catarina communicated with us clearly and effectively. No evening meal is served, but there are many close-by establishments. The beds are very comfortable and the room quiet. Breakfast is self-serve, but sufficient. Located 200 meters off the Caminho, dos Padres is a great stop for Pilgrims. Highly recommend.
