I have a private room which I greatly appreciated after a long hard day walking the Portuguese Camino. I arrived late and Carlos could not have been nicer. He made me feel so welcome and already had my luggage transfer waiting for me in my room. He showed me where to get food and everything that everyone says about the super cool stamp in your credential is true. He did such a great job with that and it’s going be a wonderful memory. I’m very touched by all the kindness from people like Carlos after such a long journey on foot. As hard as this Camino has been, places like this give me a great sense of gratitude.
Very warm welcome. The best camino stamp ever. Only nice things to say.
Back in a minute. Much to say. Stay there if you can. If you have been waiting, thank you. I had just finished walking for several hours non-stop. When I arrived at the Albergue, I was met by Carlos, the owner, up to then I had never had such a warmer welcome. I don't want to spoil the surprise for you, but can say this, Carlos was the best host I had met since I began my journey. His unique welcoming style, will take elevate your spirit to a level that would make you feel that considerate people who care about others, are still around, I hope you come across them, and if you can, meet Carlos. Disfruta.
Book early or you’ll miss out on the ultimate Camino passport stamp & ceremony - itself worth the cost of this albergue stay! Carlos is a magnificent host. Good vibes here thanks to Carlos
The host, Carlos, is superb! As a hostel, it could use some updating, especially in the plumbing department. Pillow covers were nice. Open windows and cool breeze and safety, brilliant. If there had been a choice, it would have been a challenge. Not sure about all Aubergues, but without Carlos, this one is a no for me.
