The room itself was very clean and nice, but there was no staff at the front desk, so I had to wait about an hour to check in. I also tried calling to extend my stay, but the phone line was broken. However, the housekeeper I briefly met was very friendly.

This was a chance discovery when out walking on the Camino de Santiago. The lovely caretaker helped me to get a room and I had a wonderful sleep. The bed is massive and comfortable. The shower is spacious and easy to use. There was a nice scent in the room. I made use of the kettle, fridge and television in the room too. Oh, and the balcony was great to sit outside and listen to the birds and watch the sun rise.

I have stayed in this hotel three times now. The accommodation is accessed by a pin sent by email. If you do not have any data to pick up your mail (as happened to me) you can contact the staff via an intercom by the entrance door (they seem to work in the old peoples home across the street). I did this and had no problems. I found the accommodation quiet, clean and comfortable, but I note that the prices are higher in the summer months. The location is great for walking to local restaurants and cafes. Breakfast is available at extra cost: booking through their website seems to be marginally the best value.

Absolutely horrible. Yes - clean, modern rooms with lovely balcony. However, not a soul At reception. Ever. I checked in thanks to the cleaning person. My friend could not check in for 2 1/2 hours due to no one being there. No spa exists. Everything is closed. This is absolutely false advertising. Overpriced and inconvenient. Also, no A/C.

My room must be the worst of the whole "hotel".. or maybe the good rooms are few... The room smells (I will explain further down). It faces the noisiest road, all I can hear is the very loud noise of cars and trucks driving fast and echoing between the narrow road. The room smells of bleach no matter how long I left the window open. There should be 2 windows but one does not open. In any case all you breathe is the pollution from the cars. The price is very good, granted (40 Euros more or less per night via Bookings) but I was going to ask to change to a better room (if they have any) for an additional cost but guess what? THERE IS NOBODY at reception. They barely show up for your check in (which is rigidly at 3pm no matter what) even if they send you some lock info by email). But because reception is not really reception, when I wanted to change the room there was nobody I could talk to. I hate this room. All I see is walls (no view, not even the sky), all I can hear is loud cars and all I can smell is some sort of bleach or horrible chemical/spray (it reminds me of anti-flies spray). If you cannot guarantee one of the very few balcony rooms overlooking the quieter parking lot (which is the best location, ironically), you will not like it here unless you only need a place to sleep and you can sleep through anything. It's clean, that is true. So at least cleanliness exists. But if it's bleach I smell (a horrible smell which never goes away) they have not used eco-friendly cleaners or hypo allergenic cleaners or organic cleaners. I think I can also smell some sort of anti-fly or anti-ants spray (I don't know if it's that but it smells like that, it's really bad): my throat hurts after being here for a short while. I don't know what to do to change the smell in the air. I even left the door open trying to create a breeze. Also, the fridge does not work. So the food I bought will be thrown away. There are no real restaurants in the area, unless all you eat is meat (which we do not) , only cake shops. So if you eat organic or vegetarian, you will have problems here, in the whole area.
