Albergue Celenis

THE POOL IS CLOSED ALL OF OCTOBER! It would have been nice to have been told this when we booked as it was a big part of the reason we chose this place. It took trying four showers to find one that'd run hot. The kitchen is nice and well appointed with all you could need. The beds are a good size with privacy curtains, sockets and lights. The garden is big and pleasant with lots of seating and loungers. There are laundry facilities and lots of room to hang it.

Book the six bed dorm. Perfect size dedicated bathroom clean. Towel not included. Really like this hostel the one thing that let it down was the front of desk staff they weren’t too friendly which I was surprised because every other receptionist at hostels that I met were lovely just this place I don’t know why they weren’t.

Rooms were fine but the service lacks. We ordered breakfast for the next morning but somehow we didn't get a bag of food. The service number was not answering (at 7:30 while everyone is supposed to check out at 9:00 as well) and even when we saw what was inside the 4 euro breakfast it was a little disappointing as well (the 2 white bread slices looked a bit cheap, but the drinks and an apple were fine) As response to the comment of GBC, no we did not receive the breakfast, others did, but we had none and there was no receptionist at 8 to ask for help.

Great place to stay on the caminho, among my favourites! All new, spacious,comfortable bed with good sheets, curtain, big locker. Receptionist Anna and her colleague were super friendly and so helpful. Washing machine service, nice towels and breakfast at minimal extra cost made the stay even better. Big kitchen, nice bathrooms and everything very clean. Can only recommend it to other pilgrims!

Sparkling clean. Our room had four comfortable bunk beds and its own bathroom. We used two beds, and the other two stayed empty. The shower was hot. We could control the room temperature as we like it. We ended up staying here for two nights
