It should be advised that the pool is not heated at the moment. So if you want to swimm in the cold room in 16 degrees, you have your chance here. We came here for that, otherwise we would choose other hostel.
I wish I had skipped this spot. It was dirty and dated, without adequate bathrooms or showers to accommodate the number of people there. The service was not great, and it felt like we were just a burden. The breakfast (which costs extra) was definitely not worth it - stale bread, warm juice, and a coffee pod. The washer/dryer are closed after 6:30 pm. And the pool area was disgusting. I paid for it but didn’t end up using it. There were people spitting into the pool, and someone caring for a foot that was bleeding profusely, with the blood mixing into the pool water. I couldn’t leave fast enough.
Rooms were fine but the service lacks. We ordered breakfast for the next morning but somehow we didn't get a bag of food. The service number was not answering (at 7:30 while everyone is supposed to check out at 9:00 as well) and even when we saw what was inside the 4 euro breakfast it was a little disappointing as well (the 2 white bread slices looked a bit cheap, but the drinks and an apple were fine) As response to the comment of GBC, no we did not receive the breakfast, others did, but we had none and there was no receptionist at 8 to ask for help.
Sparkling clean. Our room had four comfortable bunk beds and its own bathroom. We used two beds, and the other two stayed empty. The shower was hot. We could control the room temperature as we like it. We ended up staying here for two nights
Pool is the nicest thing about this hostel; I paid €5 to use it but everyone seems to be able to walk in for free. Box beds with privacy curtains in massive dorms. Location a bit out of town. Better than the Pontevedra location
