Albergue de peregrinos Timonel

This hostel I don't recommend. It's clean it's tidy but it offers very little. Only the bed, no area to sit nicely or to relax. The bathrooms are underwhelming, only one usable toilet for 20 people (the second one is part of the showers in the middle of the bathroom without any privacy). It's low price but also cheap experience. I won't be coming again

I had such a great experience at this hostel, the owners were the best hosts I’ve had on the whole Portuguese Camino route. We were upgraded to a private room with our own private bathroom without charge. We also had food which was prepared by the owners mother. It was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Also, contrary to other review, the showers were lovely and warm, plus the bedding and room were clean.

Paying 30€ (15€ per person) for a private room with shared toilet to not deal with the stinky feet festival, farts, snoring and noise of the albergue, it's an absolute bargain. Yes, you're not staying at the Amalfi luxury inn, but keep in mind what you pay for what you get. The owners are really friendly and helpful, there are 2 fully equipped toilets (refurbished) for 5 bedrooms on the second floor, everything is really clean and tidy, location is great with everything you might need 5 minutes walking and the kitchen is better equipped than most albergues. Totally recommended.

Very nice place. The lady owner is very friendly and helpful. There are beds in dormitory and private rooms. Kitchen with utilities available. Double room cost 30 euro. Clean and neat. We recommend!:))). We stayed 3 nights, because I got sick, very nice place for recovery:))

Poorly equipped and not very nice. The bed was very noisy. But for very good price and very close to the camino
