Great spot for pilgrims - mere steps off the Camino. Loved the shared kitchen with free coffee and a fridge available. The chocolate, juice and sweet bread was a nice touch on arrival. Everything was very clean. We used the laundry (4€ to was and 4€ to dry - only wish there was a change machine). The only downside was thin walls. Someone in the building was talking all night long and kept us - and several other pilgrims we spoke to on the morning - from getting good rest. Bring your ear plugs. Otherwise terrific place!
I made a reservation in advance for a room in Estrella through whatsapp as they provide lower prices than on Booking. When we came and contacted Jorgeline, she said there was an overbooking, and all rooms are already full. She offered us another nice apartment, but the price was much higher. Before we should pay 50€ and then it was 85€. Jorgelina was friendly and nice.
Very clean with all the modern conveniences. Hostess is super nice and took her time to explain all about the place including places to visit on our stay. It is right of the Camino path so getting back on the trail is not a problem at all. It is located in the northern edge of town so it was pretty quiet. Room was very spacious and the bathroom was great. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again.
Wonderful! Very welcoming host, large room and bathroom with great shower, fluffy towels, laundry sink & clothesline, washer available. ‘Grab and go’ breakfast bag with fruit, juice, roll & jam. Large well equipped kitchen. About 10 minutes walk from downtown but very close to where the Camino Portugues leaves the highway again.
The hostess was very welcoming. The room was large with wardrobe. Bathroom very comfortable. She explain where coffee making facilities were and that breakfast was included. She even provided a packed lunch for the journey. It was a very wet day but she took us to a restaurant to eat our evening meal and then picked us up again. She even drove my husband to an ATM to get out cash for the next day.
