Very clean with all the modern conveniences. Hostess is super nice and took her time to explain all about the place including places to visit on our stay. It is right of the Camino path so getting back on the trail is not a problem at all. It is located in the northern edge of town so it was pretty quiet. Room was very spacious and the bathroom was great. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again.
This hostal is a gem! Rooms are big and clean! Beds are fresh and perfect after a day on the Camino! The showers needlessly hot with a tub! Kitchen with breakfast bag and hostess that went over the top to help us order pizza and wine for delivery. Super sweet. And it is quiet and next to the Camino but not in noise of town. Do yourself a favor and pick this one! Also very inexpensive!!
Wonderful! Very welcoming host, large room and bathroom with great shower, fluffy towels, laundry sink & clothesline, washer available. ‘Grab and go’ breakfast bag with fruit, juice, roll & jam. Large well equipped kitchen. About 10 minutes walk from downtown but very close to where the Camino Portugues leaves the highway again.
The hostess was very welcoming. The room was large with wardrobe. Bathroom very comfortable. She explain where coffee making facilities were and that breakfast was included. She even provided a packed lunch for the journey. It was a very wet day but she took us to a restaurant to eat our evening meal and then picked us up again. She even drove my husband to an ATM to get out cash for the next day.
It is lovely here. The rooms are nice and more spacious than most. The house is spotless and about 500 meters from the center of town. The Camino de Santiago is a few steps away.
