Hotel Sena

.Location was a bit far away from the city. Rooms were clean enough. Atmosphere was a bit weird, but normal for a budget hotel. Cannot complain about noise, but I guess when I stayed there was just no party downstairs. Honestly, value for money is quite good, but it is a budget hotel.

I'm leaving this review before completing my stay. I was a bit nervous because the hotel is on the outskirts of town, and is a bit older, however I'm absolutely moved by the outstanding reception and service I've received so far. This place is clean, straight forward, and very reasonably priced. The food in the restaurant is exceptionally good, and the service and friendliness of the staff is incomparable. I highly recommend this place for any peregrino seeking a last-minute place to stay.

Hotel Sena was located far away from the entry into Caldas de Reis but it was right on the way when leaving the city for Padron. The service was good and we were particularly delighted with the care and service provided by a particular gentleman who served us for a late lunch and later dinner. He has kindly accommodated when we requested for Galician soup which was not on the set menu. The room was old fashioned but overall comfortable as it was also quite spacious - both the bedroom as well as the toilet. While it is located next to the road, this is a very quiet road and it helped that our room was facing the back into the fields. A good night’s rest where we all managed to sleep very soundly. Great service from the dinning experience was something we will always remember - regret not checking the name of the very kind waiter.

Very noisy hotel! Lot of noise from te restaurant part of the hotel and door slamming guests.

Great place to overnight when doing the Camino. Reception so helpful. It was raining when we were going out for the evening & Receptionist came after us to come back while she & another member of reception located umbrellas for us to use for the evening- so kind & helpful ! Loved the swimming pool also.
