1 / 5 I wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel had aircon, a pool, and a lift, but the experience was terrible. The lady at reception was nice, but we were verbally abused by another staff member for pressing the buzzer at 13:50, despite a 2pm check-in sign we missed after an exhausting 20km walk. The room had mold, and after reading more reviews, we decided not to complain and switched hotels the next day.

After check-in we smelled and saw mold at the walls in our room (it was room 102, pictues attached). The staff at the reception seemed overwhelmed with the situation. First she refused to do anything, only after a discussion she called her boss and gave us the option of sleeping in an alternative room (pictures attached). This room is obviously not(!) regularly available to guests as it was dusty and also filled with personal, private belongings of an unknown person. There wasn’t even space to put our stuff, as all of the drawers of dresser were filled and the cabinet was closed. There were private, worn slippers on the cabinet… combined with the dirty mattress, this situation was unacceptable for us. (Pictures of the dirty mattress were not accepted by google)
Despite this, our shared bathroom was not equipped with toilet paper, the toilet was dirty and also the shower was dirty even before anyone used it.
In the evening the boss arrived and we confronted him with our decision not to sleep in either of the rooms. He offered us a 40% refund, which was unacceptable for us. At the end, we could only agree on a 50% refund, which is also ridiculous. The boss didn’t even care about the situation, as he knows he’ll always have bookings because of the Camino. He lied on us, saying the mold developed in the previous night and that is was a matter of bad cleaning, which is obviously not the truth. So at the end, he canceled the booking on booking.com, he refunded us the money onto our visa card and he made us give him 50% of the amount in cash. It seems like he is doing this often, so he can avoid receiving bad reviews on booking and also can get the money in cash (avoiding taxes as well?!)…
Yes, the garden is beautiful, but this is really the only good thing to say about this accommodation, as the service is beneath contempt.
5 / 5 very pleasant accommodation, tastefully decorated! the yard with the pool and accompanying facilities deserves a clean five! The rooms are nicely furnished but quite small... that's why I gave a rating of 4! otherwise, any recommendation for accommodation!

Room lacks elementry stuff like shampoo. The soap bottle was empty. No hair drier.
Didn't let us in early.
Service doesn't have a clue in english.

Great garden and pool with shared facilities and kitchenette.
