The rooms aren't really the best I'd say, BUT i found the people here and their services really nice as a foreigner. The location is absolutely great as well as it is perfectly near the places of your necessities and near one of the great Universities in Coimbra.
This is possibly the cheapest option if you're in town for a few days. Personally I stayed here for about a week before moving into the apartment I ended up staying in for the entire semester, and it worked just fine. Because the place was so cheap, we really did not have huge expectations so we were not disappointed.
Comfortable budget accommodation with working wifi internet and staff knowledgeable about local restaurants. Good location - walking distance to the university and possible free parking in the street in the area. Small problem: ants in the room.
Very basic accommodation but clean and tidy. Staff was helpful and external toilet was very clean. A bit noisy if you stay on the ground floor.
