I really loved the stay. The hotel is in the middle of city centre, - the location couldn't be better. The room was VERY clean and the stuff was so nice, helpful and welcoming. That was my best stay in Portugal, very good standard. If I would be back in coimbra for sure I will chose this hotel again.
Hello everyone, This place is very good. Anna and her colleagues are very kind and good people. And they are always available. It is a very important issue that they are always available. It has a calm atmosphere. It is very clean. It has a clean dining hall and good facilities. The room is cleaned very regularly. I am satisfied with your stay in this place and I strongly recommend it. Thanks.
The service is top, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful , the building however is very old , the room was tiny small. Lot of hostels is gaz stations in the road are way better than this .
I do not recommend Residencial Gouveia at ALL. They are extremely unfriendly, unprofessional and rude, especially the guy at the phone, as other reviews have pointed out. Not to be trusted. They seriously need to consider changing and/or improving their customer service if they want to continue hosting tourists visiting lovely Coimbra.
