I spent a week in this charming beautiful hotel. It’s extremely clean, quiet and centrally located in Coimbra. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the owner and entire staff is towards their guests. Even the regular guests are helpful and kindly. If I’m going to stay in Coimbra, I won’t stay anywhere else.
Great location. A 10 minute walk across the bridge to city center. Restaurants and cafes located across the street. Third floor room is not for older people or tall people. Lots of steps and ceilings are extremely low. Customer service was exceptional.
Lovely place, great location. The management is very attentive of any needs. They have a small common kitchen area with fruits, tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Quite liked it.
Brilliant location, near the old city. Old style guest house recently refurbished in 2019. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is a guest house and while there is a kitchen on the ground floor there is only a coffee machine, a small fridge and a microwave. So no self catering. Staff are amazing - personable, knowledgeable and multi lingual. Highly recommended!
Room was lovely. Bed was uncomfortable but this is personal choice, and a new shower head would be helpful. There's no kettle in the room, but there is a kitchen downstairs. Tackling 4 flights of stairs, twice, to get a coffee in the morning, was inconvenient, but that's it for the negatives. The location is excellent with a fantastic view of Coimbra. The room was very clean and the house is really nice
