All in one. Very high in quality and pricing. In middle of town. Coimbra a very nice city to introduce you in Portugal society and history.
Close to the old city and the railway station. Traditional hotel which was very comfortable to stay in. Get a room with a balcony if possible, they have great views and are good to relax on at night. There is a little bit of corridor noise but was pretty quiet during the night. It could also do with a kettle in the room. Supermarket a short walk away to load up on essentials.
Very good price, comfortable bed, a/c, private bathroom. However, two things were annoying. We had room nr. 27 that is right above the reception desk and that means you always hear the sound of the main entrance bell. And right behind the door to the balcony, there's a washing machine that can make some noise (not that terrible, though). Also the hotel is next to a firefighters' station so from time to time you can hear an alert and following sirens.
It was a pretty good place to stay very close to the centre of Coimbra. From the window we could see the town. The room was neither too big neither too small, but the beds were comfortable. My sorrow was that there was no coffee automat neither breakfast. The staff was very kind. I recommend this place.
