Hotel Botânico Coimbra

Nice little hotel, clean and cozy. Special mention for a real wood floor and nice high ceilings in the room)) Good location near the Botanic Gardens. They do not have a private car park, but parking on the streets around can be found relatively easily. Breakfast offers quite a modest selection of food, especially in terms of protein. In general, we enjoyed staying there.

Room was clean and with airco. Breakfast was great with a lot of choice. The only issue is parking as they only have two spaces in front of the hotel and it's hell to park anywhere in Coimbra

Heartfelt thanks to the service. Hotel fits its ** standard. Location is great, not too far from the center, you can walk down in 10-15mins. We stayed in a 3 beds room with a child. Breakfast is nice, from 7:30-10:00 am - more then enough to feel full and variable (of course not as in 5 star hotels). Ladies at the Registration are kinda and understanding, available 24 hours. When going outside, you are asked to leave the keys at the Registration desk which makes it quite convenient.

Have stayed here twice and enjoyed it tremendously on both occasions. The rooms are clean and comfortable (AC) and reasonably quiet. The family that runs it is just extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good too. It's situated just near the botanical gardens which is a lovely area of Coimbra. I will always try to stay there when I visit Coimbra!

The rooms are decent sized, w air conditioning and nice Tv. The wifi is slow and hard to get (at least in the room i stayed in). The breakfast i found a lil disappointed coffee was weak, no option for dairy allergies, and not many options in general. Good for your one night stay i would say (motel like)
