Hotel is nice, room spacious, comfortable bed and perfect location. It has parking available and is also possible to leave the car just in front, on the street. Receptionist was very nice and helpful. The room was bit strange, the bathroom is not actually separated, is in front of the bed. The toilet was dirty when we arrived and there was not daily cleaning (quite surprising considering that is 4* hotel) Breakfast was just OK, not so many options; served on the open terrace which was fine, just I would rather keep the food (even marmalades, etc. and bread out of sun).
Nice large clean rooms, with comfortable beds. Easy check in and out. Walking distance to the old part of Coimbra. Generous buffet breakfast in the morning which included, eggs, bacon, buns/bread, cereal, yoghurt, a large variety of fresh fruit, cheese, cold cuts.....
The hotel needs renovation, especially the pool and spa center. The bathroom and toilet are practically in the room, they are not separated from the room by a door, it can be uncomfortable if you are with a girlfriend or a friend and have to go to toilet. It's for sure not 4 stars hotel. They don't clean rooms every day. Staff are amazing, and location is really good, it's 15min walking distance from city center and all major facilities.
We have been to Ibn-Arrik before, always a good experience, staff super friendly, room always spotless, pool warm, breakfast plentiful, location perfect, parking no problem 😊
