The hotel is in a great location, which was the only positive aspect of my stay. However, everything else was disappointing. They charged 9.50 euros per person for breakfast, which felt like a scam, as the options were extremely limited, and the quality was poor. It was definitely not worth the price. To make matters worse, they assigned us a smoking room without informing us beforehand. The room was filled with fumes and had a strong, unpleasant odor that clung to everything, including the bedding, towels, and curtains. It was uncomfortable and made it difficult to breathe. Luckily, we discovered that our shower was broken, and when we reported it to the reception, they finally agreed to move us to another room. While this was a relief, the new room was still far from ideal. It was incredibly small, leaving barely any space to move around, and the lighting was so dim that it felt gloomy and unwelcoming. Overall, while the hotel’s location was convenient, the poor service, uncomfortable rooms, and additional charges made the experience disappointing. I would not recommend staying here.

Very well located, near the parc, with amazing wiews over the river and Convento Sao Paolo, 5 min walk to the pedestrian historic area, 5-10 minutes walk to all the main attractions of the city. Very clean, good breakfast, very nice and helpful staff. It was a very agreable, I recommend it.

Good stay near city center. Walking distance to the University, Se and shopping street. Room was clean, quiet and Spartan but still comfortable. Great view from the Fado room. Perfect for an unfussy stay.

Good quality hotel, close to the centre, but with easy to the surrounding countryside. From the time of our arrival to our 03:00 departure, the staff could not be more pleasant or helpful. Reception was attended 24 hours. Danielle, Johanna and their colleagues were excellent. Every request (and we had a few) was dealt with efficiently in a timely fashion. House cleaning was top class. Even the maintenance man (whose name I can't spell) managed to supply us with a 15mm spanner! Buffet breakfast at €8.90 was great value. Wide choice of cereals, fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt, bread, meats, cheese, cakes, etc. We used the hotel as a base for a cycling holiday, and it didn't disappoint. Would highly recommend.

In no particular order, we had comfy beds, great breakfasts, were near all the places we wanted to visit, and helpful friendly staff. They helped us when our American sense of parking space was challenged by the narrow entry to the parking garage, and directed us to an inexpensive nearby surface lot. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
