I was incredibly happy staying here, it's in a good location, easy to find and easy to check in even though I can't say more than Hola! Bar is nice enough and the breakfast was really good. The room was better than expected for a 2star hotel, comfortable and clean, the TV is obviously in Portuguese but it had quite a few channels, discovery, movies etc that played the English audio and Portuguese subtitles so there was something to watch when in the room. Staff were very friendly and always available the only slight downside is the entrance to the underground car park. It's great that there is a carpark and once I got in there I had plenty of space but wow is that a steep and tight bend to get in and out of. You can tell by the amount of paint on the walls in there that quite a few people struggle, especially when it's possibly the first time you're driving on the opposite side so.
Great central location, just steps away from the main attractions and right in front of the Mondego River, with its lovely parks and bridges. The hotel has a modern, practical style and the rooms come with everything you need, including an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast is included and absolutely fantastic – honestly the best I had during my two-week stay in Portugal. This hotel truly proves that always it’s best to just keep it simple and practical.
Good decoration. Clean rooms and general areas. The staff was nice and attentive. Will come back.
Didn't stop long here as was just an overnight stop after late flight. Reception was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooms were very comfortable. I would stop here again.
The hotel was empty. Even when I had requested before the check in, for the rooms not to face to the street, the guy at the desk was completely apathetic and said the hotel was full. Only at 2 in the morning, after we had to go downstairs in pajamas we got to change rooms. The noise from the street and the parties was unwearable. The location is good but you can get much better hotels for the same price. One of the worst Ibis I've been to, rooms look old and they don't vacuum under the beds also the showers are very slippery. They don't replenish the breakfast. They charge you the parking for all the days you're staying, but the parking lot is very small and if you don't get back to the hotel early there are no more parking lots available. They publicize that there's live music, but even though we stayed many days, it was completely absent and no one used the "bar", which was understandable because it's a hallway with no atmosphere. I'm not sure what's good to say about the hotel, beside that it's close to the river and there are some nice restaurants and bars by the river.
