Really reasonable place! My room was clean and had a balcony, the staff was welcoming and nice and the location is in the center.
Positives: The price. It is a cheap hotel and you get what you paid for. The rooms are clean, and the bedsheets and towels are changed regularly, alongside cleaning. The bathroom area is always clean.The location is amazing. WiFi is great. It is 2 minutes walk from Coimbra A. Very near you can find all the supermarkets. It is very close to touristic places, river and botanical garden. Negatives: The staircase. It is crazy long. The hotel belongs to an old lady, and she is a bit noisy sometimes. The kitchen looked overstuffed, so I went in just once. I lived there when Hurricane Leslie came, and at 2 30 am during sleep, water was dripping on me from the ceiling. I got another room that night. But if you don't speak Portuguese there ll be lack of understanding here.
We had a room for five for around 12 euros per person. The room was really small, we could barely move there. The only window was to a laundry, so pretty much everyone could just watch us while we were sleeping.
I dont recommend to nobody. The room was dirty and microbe lover,it wasnt warm,the money was far too enough for such residence",it was noice,the woman that was on charge there she didnt knew english at all! Totally Dont recommend it.
Nice, warm and very clean. Can't really fault it much for the price.
