Very convenient for an overnight stay in Coimbra. Longer could be a challenge due to the smallness of rooms and bathrooms. Handy free parking nearby and very good breakfast.
nice and clean small hohel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. we felt very much at home and would love to come back one day. we liked the place being very authentic and the staff was great. there also was a francesinha festival right inter park 5 min away (easy walk) they told us about. loved that, too!
This is not a bad hotel; the room was spacious (but bathroom was cramped). No coffee/tea in room. No elevator if you have a room in building 1 (building 2 has an elevator but you cannot cross except at ground floor). But the staff will carry your bag up/down the steps (they’re quite insistent about this). Great location in theory, but when we were there the students were having all night parties right across the street. On top of that, despite being on top floor, there were constant thumps and bumps that seemed to be coming from above. And the fire alarm went off at 2am. Was happy to leave as that amounted to two nights of bad sleep. Another time in another room and perhaps the hotel would be fine.
Great little stopover place when in Coimbra , nice and clean and pleasent staff. Only negative is for the price breakfast should be included but a good few cafes etc on the doorstep.
Room was basic but comfortable bed. Air con and good shower. Small hotel in a row of restaurants. Free parking available in public car park 5 minutes walk. Only had contact with receptionist who was friendly and helpful with good English.
