This hostel was very clean, and the breakfast offered a generous amount for the price. I stayed in a private room with a private bathroom, which also had a balcony—something I really enjoyed. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished. I liked how they had a clothing rack inside the room and a desk, which made it convenient. The bathroom inside the room was excellent. Although I loved the hostel itself, I wouldn't stay there again because of the area. While it was only about a 20-minute walk to the main area, I didn't feel comfortable at night.
the hostel is a good hostel, clean, comfortable beds, good shower, the staff is nice and the structure is very good. i do not recommend the breakfast that is offered by the cafe that is in the first floor; the croissant was the worst I ever ate, it took more than 20min to received the place with one slice of cheese, one slice of fiambre and a banana sliced. the coffee from the machine was so burned I can’t even drink all of it. the neighborhood is not so warm as other places in lisbon, but there are several options of restaurants and bars.
The location is both good and bad. On the plus side, it's within walking distance of many sightseeing spots. However, there were a lot of people in the area using drugs or sitting on the street, which made me feel unsafe walking alone at night. During our 4-night stay, I woke up around 1–2 a.m. several times because of people screaming outside (even with earplugs). On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and our room was cleaned every day. The ventilation fan in our private bathroom was extremely weak, but the shared bathroom was much better.
Possibly the best hostel in the heart of Lisbon. Convenient, close to everything. Whenever you come back from a day out in Lisbon, the room is always clean with new bedding. Will be back someday! Thanks
The location is very close to almost everything, and you can find easily metro, bus and taxi etc. Nearby available too many restaurants. And hostel staffs are very cooperative, but one thing i will suggest to improve or maintain their room doors, need to take care of them.
