We had an excellent time staying here and it was honestly one of the highlights to Lisbon. All the staff were incredibly accommodating and consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. In particular, Junior was exceptional in making sure our stay was comfortable as well as giving us advice on sites and activities around town. 10/10 would stay again.

Excellent location and in quiet zone, except for the doors banging from guests. Odd, eccentric and unhelpful staff and awkward guests... No social interactions. Was told at checkin that breakfast was 4EUR, got down to pay and was told it is 5EUR, trying to scam me. They also try to sell you stuff that previous guests left or forgot. Breakfast not worth it, some dry pancakes with orange juice. Atmosphere is dull in general. Most annoying are the faucets in the bathrooms that you have to press every two seconds. BEWARE DURING HOT SEASONS: NO AIR CONDITIONING! Don't fall for the "there is a fan" tactic. The fan just heats up the room rather than cooling it, basic thermodynamics. And since there is no air circulation humidity just builds up and it smells of mould in the room, almost unbearable. Positive side is the place is clean. Don't try to sleep outside of the 2am to 7am range though, prior to that the guests bang doors and theres terrible loud music from the common room, after that the construction start banging for til the evening.

Amazing from beginning to end. Good welcome. Free sangria. Fantastic breakfast. Couldn’t have dream of something better for 20€ a night. Very clean, well renovated. Worth it definitively. Bathrooms are perfect, beds very ok.

We really liked this hostel. We stayed for 7 nights in November and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had the cleanest kitchen I have ever seen in a hostel and was really well equipped and lovely to use. The staff were on it with cleaning and that encouraged the guests to keep it clean too. There was a nice social atmosphere, aided by the free sangria each evening. It is also the only hostel we've stayed in where someone's pulled out a violin! Our only complaint would be that the room was directly over the smoking area. As it was warm we needed the window open at night, meaning that the smoke would travel into the room. On the other hand we were big fans of the MDF bunkbed situation where each bed had a lot of privacy and a cosy feeling. As other reviews have mentioned there are lots of stairs!

Great hostel, in a fantastic location with a super friendly staff 👌 The rooms are relatively big and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is fine, a little bit small but that didn't cause any issues during my stay. My one small critic would be regarding the towels, they cost 3€ which is not cheap for a hostel and the one I got was really bad, didn't dry anything...
