Study abroaders (especially girls), PLEASE stay here! The absolute best hostel (or honestly, hotel) experience I've had in Europe to date. The lobby and amenities were so charming and exceeded all expectations, and the "girls only" area felt so safe and comfortable. The bathrooms were modern and clean; the beds were so comfortable I slept the best I had in a week; I brought my own lock for their massive under bed drawers and my stuff felt super safe (also in the luggage room). All the receptionists were LOVELY and truly went above and beyond to accommodate me and 3 friends on 3 different reservations in the same room together — I can't even say how much this meant to us since we only had one night together! I would literally return to Lisbon to stay here and I can't wait to come back.

This hostel is one of the best I've ever stayed in. It's beautifully accented with antiques and speak-easy vibes. The staff are all so friendly and there is a Girls-only wing. The daily dinner with Mama was sooo good and I got to know other travellers in a comfortable and exciting setting. I highly, highly recommend this hostel as the only hostel to consider when staying in Lisbon!

I've stayed at dozens of hostels solo traveling and I can confidently say that this is the best one I've experienced so far. The social atmosphere is simply unmatched. Every staff member treats you like you're their best friend, there's plenty of common area space, and the family-style dinners (shout out to Mama!!!) provide an excellent opportunity to meet and talk to people. The rooms themselves are solid too. I stayed one 4-bed dorm and 2 6-bed dorms. You get a light, a plug (or 2 USB ports depending on the room), a small shelf by the plug, and a curtain if you're on the bottom bunk. The lockers are huge and easily fit both of my bags. The bathrooms are also great - always clean and there was always hot water, although the temperature would frequently randomly fluctuate. There's so much else for me to go over but just trust me, you'll want to stay here!

This has to be one of the best hostels in the entire planet, no kidding! I had dinner with them for 15 € twice and both times it was amazing! Great atmosphere, great food, great staff, reasonable bar prices, solid and comfortable beds, great shared areas! And best of all, a prime location! I joined the daily Pub Crawl (23:00-02:00) with Tiago & Diana and it was amazing!!

I stayed here from Mar 23 to Mar 27 2025. My phone was stolen within the first 10 minutes I got to this hostel, which is unfortunate because I really enjoyed my time here otherwise. We booked under my friends name, so I can't leave a review on Hostel World so I will leave one here: The downside to this hostel is that the security getting in and out is very lax. All residents have to do is press a buzzer and they will immediately let you up. There is no camera at the front door outside the hostel so they actually have no way of figuring out who is actually a guest before they are let into the building. Unfortunately for me the night we arrived, there was someone who wasn't supposed to be at the hostel in the reception/common area. I left my phone on the registration desk for 10 minutes and unfortunately after checking their footage, we saw this person steal it. Despite the security cameras they have, this will not deter thieves or people who are not supposed to be there from stealing things. Other than help me report this incident to the police, the management really also did not offer any compensation for what happened. Just wanted to write this as a warning to other guests, it is not the most secure and safe hostel as it is purported to be. Be aware of your surroundings at all times. The people and staff are very friendly and the hostel is very social and talkative and it was overall a good time, but truly soured by the fact that my phone was stolen here.
