Loved this hotel! Were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The hotel was in a perfect location, close to metro and train stations. Lots of shopping and restaurants around. Our room had a gorgeous view of Castle Sao Jorge! The rooftop bar was beside us but was not intrusive. Service in the bar is a little slow. Our room was spacious and we loved the bathroom and shower. Lots of hot water and water pressure The bed was very comfortable. I loved being able to cast to the TV from my phone!! The breakfast buffet was excellent and replenished frequently. Would definitely stay again!
Superb hotel. Great location, right by the Metro. Excellent room and very friendly and helpful staff. Superb breakfast where we were looked after so well by Miguel. We highly recommend the Hotel do Chiado and we will definitely stay here next time we visit Portugal. They were even so kind as to speak slow Portuguese so I could converse in my very limited Portuguese.
We stayed at the Hotel do Chiado for 4 nights in one of the top floor suites, and I really loved this hotel! The suite had extremely high ceilings, two different sitting areas with glass doors and a lovely view of the neighborhood, a large bathroom and comfortable bed. The pastel de natas at check in were a nice treat--the first I tasted in Lisbon! Excellent location close to shopping and sightseeing. Sunset drinks at the rooftop bar are a must, they have a DJ on the weekends who was great to set the vibe. Service is a bit slow at the rooftop but...it's Europe, things are leisurely. :D Staff were all very sweet and helpful!
This is our second stay at this hotel. We were here last Sept 2024 and now we are here Oct 2025. We leave tomorrow. This hotel is beautiful. Both times we have stayed in the rooms on seventh floor with private terrace. Everything has been wonderful. It’s an art deco hotel with beautiful views. The food and staff have been wonderful. The rooftop bar is perfect. The staff there is also great. Only thing is the bathroom floors a bit slippery when wet. The lobby needs to be lighter and more welcoming. We would definitely come back. It’s in a nice area. A lot of things to enjoy nearby. Thank you
Our stay was marred by a couple of issues but this could have easily been a 5 star review had things run a little smoother. The hotel itself is ideally placed to visit Lisbon, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the roof bar and its view over Lisbon are amazing but there was something back of house missing. Our room was not as chosen when we arrived and after much arguing, with the staff we were eventually moved to a more suitable room. We were booked into the roof bar on the first night for drinks and food, however after waiting 1hr 40 minutes for food, we had to cancel the order and go elsewhere. The bathrooms are adequate but starting to feel a little dated. Could have been a much better experience.
