Hotel do Chiado

This is a lovely hotel set right in the heart of Lisbon. Just a short walk from all the main attractions and shops. The rooms are large, well maintained and very comfortable. We had a premium room with a terrace over looking the St Jorge Castle. It was a bit chilly in March but very nice to sit out in the afternoon for a drink before going out for dinner. The welcome drink, pastel de nata and the bottle of wine left for us in the room were nice touches. What really makes the hotel special are the staff. The reception team, waiters, bar staff and the maids were so friendly and could not do enough for you. I didn’t get anyone’s name but the help from the front desk when we needed advice on where to go and how to get there was excellent. If you are staying in Lisbon this is the perfect place to spend a wonderful city break. Thank you all so much for a lovely stay.

This delightful hotel is a real find! The rooms are spacious, very clean and beautifully appointed. Staff were all delightful and looked after us beautifully. From the delicious breakfasts to the terrace space, there was always somewhere to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I’d have no hesitation at all in recommending this hotel.

Located in a prime tourist area, this hotel is perfect for a short vacation in Lisbon, whether with family or as a couple. The staff is exceptionally friendly, providing outstanding hospitality. Its location is unbeatable—just a short walk from major Lisbon attractions, including the iconic Santa Justa Lift. Our first impression at check-in was a bit surprising, as the street-level lobby is quite small and unassuming. However, once we took the elevator to the main hotel level, we were pleasantly surprised by a beautifully maintained space with stunning views. We stayed in a room with a terrace, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline and St. George’s Castle. The breakfast area also boasts fantastic panoramic views of Lisbon, making for a delightful start to the day. A special thanks to Tomas at reception for his warm assistance and valuable local tips—they truly made our stay even more enjoyable! 😊

This is a very nice hotel with friendly knowledgeable staff. The room was lovely and had a great view with a terrace. The free breakfast was delicious. The hotel bar was awesome, Ernesto makes great Old Fashions and Manhattans.

Perfect location for this lovely hotel. Our room was great with a small terrace with a fabulous view. We are in the restaurant the evening we arrived and the food was delicious. All the staff were friendly helpful and professional. Especially Ricardo who really looked after us. It was our special anniversary and there was a lovely bottle of chilled fizz and pastries waiting for us in our room. We highly recommend this lovely hotel and look forward to returning soon.
