5 / 5 The location was fantastic, truly walking distance to everything. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a large, cozy bed. The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout my stay.
The only challenge I experienced was a marathon was happening when I arrived, so no taxis or rideshares would take me to the hotel from the train station. I had to walk with my luggage over cobblestone streets. Not the hotel’s fault, but something to be aware of. I also found it a bit difficult to get rideshares during my stay, though I’m not sure if that was due to the event or just Lisbon in general. Overall, a great hotel in an excellent location.
5 / 5 I really enjoyed my stay. It was the perfect place for the trip I planned. Great location, lovely and welcoming staff, they also assisted me with the bus, thank you very much and I really liked my room which had a balcony and was very comfortable with great old school movies! I will come back :)
1 / 5 The location and the breakfast buffet were very satisfying, but the walls in the guest room were so thin I wondered if they were made of cardboard. There was absolutely no privacy. Around 5 a.m., when the room next door became active, I could hear everything as clearly as if it were a video. On top of that, even though I had put up the “No Cleaning Needed” sign, someone entered my room without permission and my umbrella was stolen.
If you still want to stay here despite all that, then go ahead.
1 / 5 Horrible front desk staff! For a decent hotel in a good location, staff should be better trained in customer service, and being well versed with paying customers, stiffing them for incorrect prices and withholding their baggage. Pedro especially, as the ‘supervisor’ had cold stares, made rude remarks upon check-out and displayed poor hospitality. A message to owner/management - please retrain him or hire better, otherwise stay would have been better, such a shame.
5 / 5 This hotel proved to be the best.
I spent several nights here, including during the blackout on April 29th, 2025. The hotel was well-prepared and truly went above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
Besides the best location in Lisbon. The service was excellent from the start – very flexible. Leaving my bags at the front desk or checking in early was no problem at all. I also had a car, and the staff guided me perfectly to a nearby garage for parking.
The rooms were very clean, with fresh towels provided daily and great attention to detail – everything was spotless.
During the blackout, the hotel had a generator that supplied electricity, allowing guests to charge their phones and even use WiFi (which worked intermittently). This was not the case anywhere else I know of, except possibly in very large institutions or hotels. The entire hotel team actively helped manage the situation, kept guests informed, and continued to serve food and drinks in the restaurant.
At a time when nearly all restaurants and shops were closed and the city felt almost apocalyptic, this hotel truly showed its quality. The staff gave 100% to support their guests and maintain a sense of normalcy.
