I liked this hotel, though it is not really a four-star property—three stars would be more accurate. The best aspects are the people and the location. The reception staff were extremely kind and helpful. I also enjoyed the breakfast at the annexed restaurant: plentiful, with a nice view over Rossio Square. The location is unbeatable and makes it easy to get anywhere. My only real complaint is the very small room size. I was a single occupant, but with two people (as most rooms accommodate), it would be very tight. My room overlooked a pedestrian street and had a small balcony and a bathtub, which was nice. I stayed during the low season, so the price was reasonable. However, I would not be satisfied paying more than USD 150 per night (around EUR 100).

We could not have been more pleased with this hotel. We have traveled all over Europe and this may have been our favorite place that we have ever stayed. Clean, great location, amazing value, comfortable. The front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. Super responsive to all of our questions, A big shout out to Pedro. It's rare that you see someone who enjoys their work so much, knows their customers so well, and creates such a positive vibe. He lightened our day each time we saw him. The Bastardo restaurant was superb for sushi lovers. Our server, Gabriela(?) recalled our wine order from the previous evenings. All in all 11 out of 10. We will be back!

Great hotel! Amazing location, clean room, great view of the square, fast wi-fi, great coffee, and very courteous staff! Only minor issue was that there was no power socket next to the bed and no USB charger. I also didn't have the right power adapter for Portugal, but the lady at the counter even let me borrow their universal power plug, so that problem was solved nicely. There's a great restaurant in the same building and we even got 50% discount for our dinner as a hotel guest! This was one of the great hotel experiences. Our only regret is that our stay was very brief, just for one night, but my wife already planned to revisit Lisbon so hopefully we will have another chance to stay here again pretty soon.

Centrally located to Baixa and Chiado and all they offer. Right off Augusta which is quite touristy, but helpful if that’s where you want to start. Service was great and the room, bed and bathroom were nicely sized. We had a room with a window opening out to the street, which was fun. Had some street noise but it was endearing and the windows were double paned so they clearly were trying to improve that. Tiny issue — outlets weren’t easy to find but who cares with all those other benefits?!

Got one of the smaller and cheaper rooms, as I just had a one-night layover in Lisbon. The hotel is somewhat hard to find, and you will easily miss the anonymous entrance. Once you do, however, it serves as a good starting point to explore the city centre. Walking distance to the metro and several bus stops should you wish to explore further afield. However, the area in the immediate vicinity of the hotel is quite touristy, so prepare to be pestered by marijuana sellers and other harmless riffraff. The room was small, but nice, and had all the amenities one would expect. Great plus with the coffee maker in the room, did not expect that for this price. The hotel is located between some quite busy streets, and I was concerned there would be noise from the outside during the night. However, I didn't notice anything. Very courteous and helpful staff. Breakfast is served in an adjoining restaurant. Small, buffet style that had something for everyone. All in all, a great stay and I'd stay again next time in Lisbon. PS: the hotel has actual, working A/C which is worth the stay in itself.
