Clean comfortable beds, no curtains, lockers where you must bring your own lock and too small for a suitcase. Rather meh a little scary bathroom's and showers with little to no hot water. Absolutely ATROCIOUS wifi, but a good central location and kind staff.
Had an amazing 2-night stay at Lisb'on Hostel! The staff was super friendly and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Lisbon and within walking distance to most major attractions. A huge bonus is that the famous Tram 28 stop is just a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to explore the city. Clean, comfortable, and great value for money. Highly recommend if you're looking for a central and convenient place to stay in Lisbon!
Rooms don't have a functional AC! They have ACs in the room BUT you have to ask staff to turn it on for you and they turn off automaticly after 3hours! The AC is not even strong enought to fill the whole room. So you can imagine how it is at night.. absolutely hot and hard to breath. Other than that the place is good! Excellent location and friendly staffs
Overall a very nice hostel in a fantastic location with a communal balcony with spectacular views. I didn’t give it five stars because there was a very loud school group of what I would guess was 30 teenagers. I know kids are loud but the hostel had rooms of teenagers on either side of my room. I wish this was planned differently — perhaps a floor for just them.
> I wouldn't return # What I did like: The views, depending on the room you get, are nice. The terrace feels like a lookout, not very spectacular but with good views. The location is very central, perfect for visiting Lisbon, but the downside is that it's quite noisy at night due to many visitors who enjoy partying. # What I didn't like: I didn't like the noise. But other than that, everything was very good. I also didn't like how the hostel staff handled a problem I had. In my room, there was an older man, around 50-60 years old, who seemed to be living there. His space was cluttered with plastic bags and cardboard, and in the mornings and evenings, you could hear him rustling the bags for some reason, counting coins, and talking to himself. To make matters worse, he snored loudly with sleep apnea. This could be tolerable, but what really left a bad taste in my mouth was when my partner and I prepared our suitcase in the morning to visit the city. We left the suitcase on my bed, covered with a blanket, just for five minutes while we washed our faces. When we returned, the man was on my bed, likely rummaging through our suitcase to steal something. I slapped him and went to reception to complain. All they did was change our room, which I understand since they couldn't evict him without clear evidence. However, I was surprised by their lack of interest in the situation. It's evident that the man lives there. If it were up to me, I would have thrown him back out on the street. Let this be a warning to anyone who encounters him. He appears friendly (because I've seen him interact, albeit strangely, with other guests) but behind the scenes, he's a deceitful person. Additionally, the state of the bathrooms was disgusting. They were always very dirty and unclean.
