The worst hostel that I have used. Rooms are not the same as they pictured them on photos. Conditioner of room was horrible. In toilet was living mildew. Kitchen was small and bad. People around was noisy and totally loud – it was really bad idea to sleep here and choose this place.
Good and clean hostel for a good city stay. We could walk to all destination we wanted to see and were really happy with the owner! :) She cleans the shared rooms every day, therefore it is really clean. You will have to know, that the hostel is in a normal apartment, therefore there are some loud neighbors included. It didn't really annoy us, but it is good to know in case you want a calm place.
I don't know why the rating of this hostel is like that, cause for this price and location in Lisbon you won't find a better solution! Actually, I would rather say that the hostel is underestimated: the kitchen and bathrooms were always clean - thanks to the administrator Barbara who keeps an eye on that and is veeery welcoming :). We got a room for two for 5 nights and it was truly amazing cause it was big and with a balcony! So in our turn, it was a quiet and nice place to sleep while exploring this beautiful city.
This place is a scandal. This shouldn’t be even allowed by law to host people. Imagine renting a room where you find a broken bed with a missing leg, literally, and with walls covered with mold, it was super humid. Add that to the huge cracks in the walls, the faint lights, the general feeling of dirtiness.. I rented way cheaper places around the world with way better conditions. The star is there for its respectful staff, who accepted to give us a refund without a problem.
We had a small room and rather redecorated long time ago...the room looked "a little bit" different than on the photos. Additionally this is not a quiet place, we could't sleep because of traffic noise. Bathroom is shared outside the room and is not cleaned every day. There was breakfast in the offer but there was no breakfast in the kitchen in place. If you need sth cheap it will be enough, otherwise I would not recommend.
