4 / 5 I slept 3 nights at the hotel.
The staff was welcoming and friendly!
It is easy to access from the city center.
I was in a woman only room, it was clean and cosy. However, I traveled in January and there was no heater in the room, it was freezing, but I was able to ask for a second blanket.
The breakfast was good for the price.
I recommend for a quick stay !

I had a great stay at this hostel in Lisbon! The location was perfect - right in the centre, close to the metro, tram 28, and lots of cafes and bars. The staff were really friendly especially Joseph and gave great tips on where to go around the city. The atmosphere was social but not too noisy, so it was easy to meet other travellers.
The dorms were clean and comfortable, with lockers for security. Bathrooms were kept tidy, and the common kitchen was useful if you wanted to cook and the common laundry if you to wash your clothes. The terrace had an amazing street view and was the best spot to relax in the evening.
Overall, excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again when I’m back in Lisbon!
4 / 5 You get what you pay for.
Hostel is located in the city center, in the cozy alleys of Lisbon full of street art. I liked the coworking space near the reception, the courtyard and the terrace. Employees was friendly and helpful. There is only one hair dryer for the whole hostel, on the day of arrival i found out that it was not working, but the next day employees had already replaced it with a new one.
The hostel is located in an old historical building, which is why it is a bit damp and dark there. The locker have very uncomfortable vertical opening system, to access your things you have get low to the ground and use one hand to keep the door open. There isn’t quality frying pan and pot.
5 / 5 it is a little bit of a walk up to Bairro Alto, but there is a Mira Doro directly above this location. There is a bustling nightlife there, especially on weekends. The room I was in had a convenient street level entrance and though it could accommodate 10 people the entire time I was there there were never more than five of us. The only real complaints I have about the place are that there are 33 steep steps to the door to the main part where reception and the rest of the facilities are; and the other complaint is that I observed many of the guests using cold or tepid water for washing dishes and some not even using soap. My suggestion is that if you are staying here to wash your own dishes before use. Otherwise, I had a wonderful visit here!
5 / 5 I liked the hostel in general! The location was nice, I could go almost everywhere I wanted by walking! The place in general was clean, the bed was confortable and the room was nice, dark enough to sleep and well air-conditioned.. Not hot and not cold, also had a fan in my room and the blankets were soft and warm (not thin or thick, just perfect!). It's an old building so of course it was not in perfect condition, but it's not a five star hotel and everything was tidy. And because of it I was really impressed because it exceeded my expectations! Also, all the morning, afternoon and night receptionists were very nice and kind! Specially Mariana, Michael and Joseph, who I had more contact with, they were really super lovely! They had genuine interest to help me in whatever was needed, always with a smile and a kind voice.. I felt very welcomed by them! Mariana and Michael gave me very good suggestions about what to do in the area, it was really helpful! And one day I got my foot hurt on my walkings and I realized it only at night when I was going to sleep. Then I searched for help on the reception and Joseph immediately took care of my wound and calmed me down, and I was really very grateful for that! They were so lovely and my stay in Lisbon was so much better because of them! It was a safe stay for me and my heart is warm and happy.. I'm grateful for them and for the hostel!
Just some observations: the hostel, and also the city, has a lot of stairs (to enter and go to reception) and to go to some dormitories, and in my case also to go to my bed. For me it was not so much problem because my knees are good and my baggage was not heavy.
There is one big safe for each bed but you need to bring your own padlock, or you can buy it at the hostel.
There were enough outlets on the side of my bed, and each bed had its own lightning.
If you arrive before 3 pm (check-in time), you can leave your baggage in a safe room for 3 euros and go to explore the city. It's not cheap but I arrived at morning and did like this to not lose the day. The kitchen had all utensils I needed to cook. They accept only card payment, no cash allowed.
