5 / 5 Despite an initial problem with my room booking, receptionist sorted it out very quickly and professionally. Room was affordable and I really enjoyed the Imperial Garden and there was a lovely young male bartender who served me. The rooms were clean and many shower cubicles on the floor which had hot water and a hairdryer which was great.
Also many thanks to **Belita** the receptionist (hope I spelled correctly) for the great and friendly hospitality. :D
Decent location with many pastelerias and local restaurants around. Kitchen was a great, clean space which people respectfully shared. When I return, I will be keen to use more of that space.
5 / 5 My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Sant Jordi Hostels in Lisbon and would absolutely recommend it. The hostel is well located, very close to both bus stops and the metro station, making it easy to move around the city. The place itself is beautiful and very characteristic, with many rooms available and a really charming atmosphere.
One of the highlights is the beautiful garden with a bar open at night — it truly feels like a little oasis in the middle of the city, perfect for relaxing or meeting other travelers. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, always happy to help with suggestions and activities.
The breakfast is abundant and typical, a great way to start the day. The hostel also offers many activities and recommendations, so even on a rainy day when you might stay inside, you’ll never get bored.
There are lots of restaurants, bars, and supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient, and all of this comes at very affordable prices.
Overall, Sant Jordi Hostels offers an amazing mix of comfort, atmosphere, and value — we would definitely stay here again.
5 / 5 I really liked my stay here. Most of the reception staff is incredibly helpful and will go out of their way to help you. Dorm rooms were spacious and there was a good amount of storage space.
Very clean! There were cleaners the entire time.
The kitchen is huge and has everything you’d need to cook your own meal. The dining area is large with one long table and other smaller tables for smaller groups.
It’s a large hostel so you can expect to chat with other travellers if you’d like.
The location isn’t the very best if you’re looking for local dining but a lot is within 15-20min walking or metro. It’s close to metro and still walking accessible to other necessities (grocery store etc).
Note that they will not make any exceptions to changing or refunding your reservation after the cutoff date.
5 / 5 Had an amazing stay here! The bartenders were fun to chat with, and shared their expertise in all thing cocktails and bartending. Didn't ever set foot in such quality of hostels bars before! Thanks to Adrian, and the other bartenders who's name.I forgot 😅. Also, having just relocated to Lisbon, Anna at reception, along with colleagues went above and beyond to help me get set up!
5 / 5 Great stay with excellent service.
Had an awesome time here! There was an issue when we arrived because our beds were split across different rooms, but the reception team — especially Liliana, Belita, and Anore — handled it quickly and professionally. The hostel is spotless, with lots of bathrooms so there’s never a wait. The rooms are big, the beds comfy, and breakfast was tasty. Would definitely stay again when in Lisbon!
