Small room, good staff. Bad smell from toilet. Good location. Narrow staircase make it harder to carry up suitcases . To many levels in the room Bad smell. Absolutely not 3 stars hotel. Poor value for money

We stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon. It was just over £100 for a double room. When we arrived at 17:30, after travelling for the day, we were told we had no towels in the rooms so we couldn't shower but they assured us we would have towels later. The room was very small, just fitting a double bed with enough room to open the door. We went out. Location is great and close to the historical center and some good view points up the hills. We got back at 8pm after dinner, needing an early night and still the towels were not there. I went to ask the reception across the road at a different hotel (Dalma Suites) because they manage the Luiza BNB. I waited over 25 minutes to speak to the receptionist because he was checking in some late guests into ANOTHER hotel. So 1 receptionist for 3 Hotels. Eventually we got our towels at about 9:15pm delivered to our room by the receptionist and the ones we got were all ripped and stained. Finally we go to shower and the shower is Disgusting. FULL of mold around the shower which can easily be cleaned and stagnant water smell, as well as no blinds on the window so everyone can look in and see you naked! Looks like a nice hotel at first and i'm sure the owner makes lots of money but clearly they dont care about guest experience. Obviously the receptionist was working very hard but its impossible for 1 person to do 3 peoples job. Poor mamagement means ultimately I would highly reccomend AVOIDING staying here and I will be filing a formal complaint and asking for atleast a partial refund.

The cutest little room but has all you need. The location is beautiful and convenient! The staff let us check in early, which is always a huge plus!

I originally reserved to stay at the Santa Luzia hotel in Lisbon in early November, I since had to move my trip first to later than month and then to January. I selected the reserve now pay later option which time to cancel should I need it. However when I later decided to change the dates the Santa Luzia is now saying is non refundable and that they will bill me for changing or cancelling. This is clearly a scam, in my opinion, as had I seen that it was non refundable I never would have booked with them. Now I am facing the prospect of having to either pay the room fee, a change fee and then another fee on that or to cancel it entirely. I have been advised to simply not authorise the payment after the cancellation but I don't know what to do. It seems to be hidden fees on hidden fees

While the hotel is near some great views, it is also in an extremely touristy area full of souvenir shops and tourist food traps. The room itself was loud from outside street noise, including loud trucks, trolleys, and people talking (keep in mind we were on the fourth floor facing the street). The building is NOT accessible and you must take narrow stairs up to your room. When we checked into our room, there were no towels, the shower had mold, and the room did not match the pictures listed online. It is solid if you would like a step above a hostel and easy access to the trolley, but I'd recommend staying somewhere more in central Lisbon and making a day trip out to Alfama if you want to get a feel for old town Lisboa.
