Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade

Wonderful staff. The room is good with excellent housekeeping. There is a good spread at breakfast with omelettes made to order. The exercise room is relatively small but pretty typical for such hotels. Overall very happy with the stay.

Doorman Nelson was very attentive, helpful, and gave good recommendations for where to go in Lisbon. The hotel is nice and the lady who helped me check in and out was very polite. Room was big, clean and had lovely Diptyque amenities although the shampoo pump didn't work. The coffee machine also didn't work consistently. Location was in a beautiful area and it was easy to walk everywhere. I would stay there again.

As an Accor Platinum member, I had high expectations for my stay at this hotel, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing experience. Despite my membership status, there was no room upgrade offered, and arranging a late check-out was nearly impossible. To make matters worse, the room I stayed in was far from restful, as strange noises from the neighboring area disrupted my sleep throughout the night. The most shocking incident occurred on the day of check-out. While I was taking a nap in my room, a housekeeper entered without knocking or permission, which was both intrusive and unacceptable. When I brought this issue to the attention of the staff, the female receptionist responded in an unprofessional and rude manner. Her attitude was completely inappropriate for a luxury brand like Sofitel. Although the manager later addressed the situation more appropriately, it did little to improve my overall impression of the hotel. I can confidently say that I will not be returning. To add to the disappointment, the breakfast was underwhelming—lacking in flavor and certainly not worth the price. For comparison, I recently stayed at GA Hotel in Porto, Portugal. Despite being significantly more affordable, GA Hotel provided an exceptional experience in every aspect.

It was a pleasant experience. Maybe in some rooms furnitures should be refurbished. Nice and spacious bathroom and very comfortable bed. Breakfast very good. In the city center so very close to major attractions. Iron board and iron would be expected in the room. App for mobile would be also a nice modern touch to order food and other services.

Best service and friendly staff. Paulo is a very valuable asset to the hotel! He treated us like family! We shall return- the Lisbon Sofitel is our home away from home!
