Solar dos Mouros Lisboa

The location is absolutley great, near both the historical quarters as well as the centrum of Lisbon. The view from the luxury rooms are one of the most beautiful views of the city that we saw during our stay in Lisbon. The service is super good, it feels like a couple of friends put together a very wholesome hotel. Unfourtnately, for us personally, the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel did not meet our standards. There were also some strange solutions regarding eg. furniture, shower, electricy outlets. We spent one night here and then deciced to change hotel because we could not simply get comfortable.

I have literally never had better service in a hotel than we recieved here from Rio, Francois and the entire team. I have worked in hospitality for years and they blew me away. The hotel itself is also gorgeous. We stayed in the rooftop suite, and the private terrace had the best view of Lisbon I could imagine. We spent hours out there. The room was comfortable and clean, with classy details like the carafe of Porto, a coffee/tea set-up, robes and slippers. In terms of location, it is right at the top of the hill by the catsle. We don’t mind a climb, so we loved being perched above the rest of the city. Definitely would stay again.

Wow great place. Absolutely mind blowing view from our room. Rooms are very, very well appointed. What a nice touch, they give you port wine and fresh fruit in the room. Perfectly located near everything. The breakfast was also incredible. I won't spoil it by telling you. Just come! And most of all the service is outstanding! Everyone was so darn accommodating and helpful. Really great staff. I would not hesitate to come here again. Book direct and save. Thank you to everyone at Solar Dos Mouros.

My wife and I were so happy with our stay at Solar dos Mouros this summer; our three nights in Lisbon marked a short honeymoon for us, and we couldn't have chosen a better place for it. All of the members of staff, particularly François, Rio and Bruno, made us feel very welcome and looked after. The room was clean, comfortable and really nicely decorated, and the view both from there and from the terrace each morning for breakfast was a treasure. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Alfama and all of Lisbon, and I'd recommend finding the nearby elevator if you want to skip the stairs up to the road it's situated on. Would very happily stay there again - thanks to all the team!

Excellent hotel near the centre of Lisbon. The first impression was amazing. Very helpful staff who were keen to explain the main points of interest in Lisbon. The reception staff even marked all places on a map to take away. The welcome drink was great after the journey. A perfect location to experience Lisbon. Highly recommended hotel. Roof terrace restaurant was fantastic for ambience and views. We all agreed that the staff at this hotel gave the best customer service we have ever seen. Rio, Bruno and everyone were outstanding in helping us throughout our stay. Best ever hotel!
