The Lx Hill Hostel

Wasn’t able to take photos of the room but it was alright for the price. It was just right for a 2-night stay! Location was really good, near great restaurants and around 7-minute walk from public transportation. Lounge was great, breakfast was adequate. Nice reception!

Booked on Agoda which said one bed and bathroom. There was no description to read, purposely didn’t but pictures of the beds on the listing, no mention of it being a top bunk bed. Hostels have one bed rooms so I assumed it that. When I went there, the main guy said it's actually a bunkbed shared room. The room is small, no hanging area or rack, windows leading to the dining area, washroom window to dining area and I had to sleep on the top bunk. Very very misleading listing, normally they all specify if it's one of two beds, or one of 8 beds but there was nothing on the listing mentioning that I'll be on the top bunk. Better off paying a bit more for a single room with a shared washroom which would have been 5more euros a day at an Airbnb. I wish I knew so I could've canceled and booked something else. Wifi barely works so I had to use data the entire night. Staff are friendly but the system didn’t work so they had to take a picture of my passport so I could check out. The super friendly worker said she was going to delete it so I trusted her. Breakfast was bread, some ham, cheese, yogurt, milk, coffee. Just book somewhere else unless you want the bunk. This is called the "standard" room. Attaching so owners can use it on agoda. That’s the entire room minus the door entrance which has a narrow table.

Great cosy room, small bathroom... it's what you expect to get for the money. The place is homey and friendly. We loved it!

I had a very bad experience in this hostel. The self made bunked bed collapsed on top of me, because heavier man was sleeping on top. The staff was not experienced to handle any issues there. The bed was poorly done out of very cheap material. Overall it felt like a place to make money on tourists. After the incident the hotel manager / owner compensated me with the stay of 2 nights in a different hotel (Radisson) one of which was obligatory and one was optional, and checked in on my health. He also mentioned that they bought a new bed , not self made anymore. In anyway, I would not recommend to stay in that room.

Hostel with perfect localisation - metro line, tram 28 station, grocery store, 20min from city centrum. Stuff is helpful. Rooms are good quality for price
