The reviews on this hotel are accurate from what I have read and experienced. This is a hotel about location and less about amenities. The best way to approach it is consider it an optimal balance between location and price. The Good: Cannot beat the location. Centrally located, easily walkable just about anywhere, easy access to metro. The rooftop bar is inexpensive and a nice place to enjoy a drink. The room also had a US-style bathtub/Shower combination with good water temperature and pressure. The minifridge was a nice feature for us to pick up drinks and fruits to have during our stay. It also comes with a number of eating utensils and plates. They also allowed us to check in early to our room. The Bad: The rooms (at least the one I had) was a bit dated. The carpet was clearly worn and darkened in areas by the door. The walls were a bit scuffed as others noted. The sink in the bathroom lacked an aerator resulting it spraying water everywhere. The Ugly: During our visit in mid March, the air conditioner had not been turned on. The difference in temperature between the lobby and the 6th floor was very noticeable. I opened the window for every day I was there, but this was not an ideal option due to the traffic in the square. Despite the pillow and linen situation being sufficient, it did require many bouts of covers on vs. covers off while attempting to sleep at night. Perhaps the renovated rooms would be better, but set your expectations accordingly and this should be ok. This is very much a standard European hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for a few nights, and while the location is convenient, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. First, the room itself was outdated, with old carpet and a generally worn-down feel. I noticed that some rooms had hardwood floors and seemed newer, but despite asking, I wasn’t offered one of those. When I inquired about changing rooms, the front desk initially said they’d check, but I never heard back. It felt like they just wanted to avoid saying no outright rather than actually trying to help. The service was also frustrating. I asked if they had a phone charger I could borrow, and they immediately said no without even checking. Meanwhile, deliveries aren’t allowed to be brought to the room, so I had to go downstairs myself to pick up my food. In a hotel charging over 100 euros a night, you’d expect at least basic accommodations like this. There’s a general passive-aggressive energy from the staff—polite on the surface, but dismissive when you actually need something. I also noticed a shift in attitude after I asked about changing rooms, almost like I had made a “difficult” request. For the price, you can definitely find better service elsewhere. If you just need a place to sleep and don’t expect much from the staff, it might be fine. But if you’re looking for any level of attentiveness or hospitality, this probably isn’t the place. Room 907

Very dirty room!!! Breakfast hall is small, some people have waited long time to come in and eat, because there was no tables left!Service bad because they didn’t take dirty plates in breakfast room.poor breakfast menu. One thing that was good about the hotel was WiFi that was easy to connect and it was fast

Everything was good, instead of hairdryer. If you have a long hair, think about getting your own. Because they are too old. For me it was main problem
