Casa Puertas

We spent a wonderful night here during our Camino adventure in August. Carmen welcomed us warmly and showed us our room, the nearby laundry facilities, and the adjacent garden by the seaside. The room was spacious and had a rustic charm to it. Despite the lack of AC we slept well with the window open and a cool breeze off the ocean. Breakfast was a cozy affair attended to by two lovely local ladies. My omelette was made to order, and very delicious. Absolutely recommend this property to Pilgrims passing through.

Casa Puertas wasn't just a place to rest our heads after a long day exploring Oia, it was an experience in itself. The rooms were beautifully furnished, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Comfort was key – think plush bedding and thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly at ease. But what truly stole the show was the staff. Their kindness and attentiveness went above and beyond. They were always there with a smile and a helpful hand, ensuring our stay was perfect in every way. We left Casa Puertas feeling refreshed and relaxed, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and charming place to stay in Oia.

What a lovey place. It was their grandma’s home and it’s two sisters and a cousin running it. Lovely breakfast, location is superb. The only issue is I could hear conversation of loud man next room over as if he was in our room but a little soundproofing would fix that. Perfect place. I didn’t want to leave! Very attentive women. One is a taxi driver as well as her husband so if you need a ride…

A must stay when walking on the Camino. Or if you want a holiday in a stunning little village. Lovely room, perfect bed and lovely host. Thank you

Fantastic! Rooms, service, facilities, all were excellent. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had in Galicia with an amazing omelette made to order. Incredibly helpful and professional service made the whole stay wonderful from start to finish
