I booked the room with the balcony and it’s great. I have a lovely chat with another ppl. And the Albergue got lots of information too. The bed is really comfy and they give us blanket! This is the best point since the evening might get cold. It’s also clean and organized.

Super friendly and warm welcome, incl. tourist information provided about Padron. Nice atmosphere in the house, like visiting relatives, albeit stairs to the second floor room and kitchen might not be ideal for everyone. Room was big enough and beds clean, with daylight and enough fresh air. Busy bars nearby are noisy (it was Saturday) but after so many km on the Caminho we slept well nevertheless. Nice kitchen and living room retro style, unfortunately without stove but microwave did the job. Basic breakfast included, with homemade jam and plenty of toast. Clean bathroom, home style not hostel style. All in all a lovely place to stay thanks to the personal welcome and atmosphere like staying in someone's home, thank you!

Slept at Albergue A Barca de Pedra for a night on my way to Santiago, my peregrinos friends and I got a beautiful and clean 4 beds room with a balcony which had a very nice view of the city. We were greeted in such a warm and welcoming way, the woman who check us in even gave us indications on a map so we could get the best out of our short time in Padrón. I stupidly forgot one of my AirPods and the owner was kind enough to send it back to me in Canada. If this isn’t impeccable service, I don’t know what is. 10/10 would recommend to any pilgrim.

The living room is spacious and comfortable. The receptionist girl is kind and informative. Unfortunately my room was too small for me (5 bunk beds in a small room), thus it was stuffy and a bit too much inprivate with others.

This hostel was one of the cleanest we stayed at along the camino, but at this price point for a bed, I was a bit surprised that we weren't given any sheets. The owner seemed nice and I didn't want to bother him with it, so my boyfriend and I used our own sleeping bags and towels. Therefore, I was pretty confused when, after having a nice slow morning at the hostel talking to the owner, he ran a couple kilometres down the camino to find us and yell at us in the street about stealing the towels and sheets that were never given to us. He continued yelling as we tried to explain that we were never provided with towels and sheets, he threatened to call the police, and then angrily walked away. Strange. Stay here only if you can handle a dose of crazy.
