The beds are comfortable, clean and spacious. The albergue opens only at 12.30pm ,so if on the camino and arrive early , there is a restaurant/cafe few steps away and you could chill and drink something.
Large albergue with lots of beds but a small kitchen and refrigerator for the amount of guests. We had to hang towels from our bed for some privacy
They weren’t at the front desk when we arrived, we had to wait all wet in the communal area for more than 1hour, which is not ideal after 20km walking in the rain. No hairdryer (they told us it was broken…), no blankets for everyone, no heating until 20:30 despite us asking (therefore couldn’t get warm during nap time) - the reception had the heating on though. Showers with tepid water, toilets and sinks were filthy. The rooms were spacious with good sized lockers however the top bunk didn’t have protection against falls and it was very high. The staff were not very welcoming or helpful.
EDIT: i did not bring the bugs with me, i saw them under the bed. Sure i showered myself. The next day i had bites all over my two arms, they are very itchy, better report it to the local authorities Everything not well cleaned, service was okay, but i got bitten by a bedbug on my arm, you could see traces under the bed. Not a clean place, cannot reccomend👎🏻
The receptionist wasn’t at the front desk when we arrived (they told us they messaged us through booking but that is not enough for peregrinos who are walking during a rainy day). We were waiting for more than an hour bc they were out for lunch. Shower warn but not hot. Bathroom not as clean as excepted. They refused to turn on the hitting system until 8pm even though it was freezing. We asked for blankets and they told us that no more blankets were available.
